Arsenal have made a shaky start to the Premier League season, with one loss and one win to their name so far.
The defeat to West Ham in the opening match of the campaign was a wake-up call after many tipped them to challenge for the top flight title, and it could be that manager Arsene Wenger now looks to make some signings to improve his team. There were certainly some frailties on display in both fixtures to date.
The Gunners could do this in a sensational double swoop for two PSG stars, according to the Daily Express. The first of which is striker Edinson Cavani, who scored 18 goals in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season.
Olivier Giroud did score against Crystal Palace last weekend, but there have long been doubts over his ability to spearhead a title challenge. This move could solve that issue by bringing in a forward who is proven at the highest level.
The Uruguay international could be available for £45 million according to the Express.

The North Londoners aren’t finished there though, and are also interested in Adrien Rabiot.
The 20-year-old has become a regular first team player at the Parc des Princes, scoring four goals and creating one other in 21 appearances during the last campaign. He could be available for £25 million according to the Express, which wouldn’t be a huge price to pay for a player who could be at the heart of Arsenal’s midfield for the next decade.
Although Francis Coquelin is the player to have come under pressure in the middle of the park during the first two matches of the season, it is alongside him that Rabiot would likely play. The youngster is known for his dribbling and passing abilities rather than his defensive nous, and would make a good midfield partner for his countryman.
