Arsenal star Joel Campbell is a target for Serie A side Palermo, reports the Daily Mail.
If the 23-year-old leaves the Emirates Stadium it could make room for Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema in Arsene Wenger’s squad. The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Gunners [Metro], and could be a great addition if they are going to challenge Chelsea for the Premier League title.
However, there may be a snag as Campbell is keen to tay and prove himself with the North London club. Moreover, the Italian team are yet to meet the Costa Rica international’s £7.1 million asking price, which could prove to be another stumbling block in a transfer.

Gunners fans will be keen to see the forward leave though, as long as it means Benzema will be arriving. The Frenchman scored 15 goals and managed 10 assists in 29 La Liga games last season, and could be an improvement on Olivier Giroud up front for the English outfit.
