Five Gunners under threat if Arsenal Gotze deal goes through.
A look at five players who could lose their place in Arsene Wenger’s side if the Arsenal Gotze deal comes off this summer…
1) Mesut Ozil
Currently one of Arsenal’s main creative players, Mesut Ozil has been tipped for a better season this year, but looked his old disappointing self against West Ham on Sunday, with Gotze an ideal signing to replace him in that number ten role.

2) Santi Cazorla
Another of Arsenal’s attacking midfielders, Santi Cazorla could find his place under threat if Gotze joins, and the German would be a good long-term replacement for the Spaniard, who could be approaching a decline as he turns 31 this year.
3) Theo Walcott
Currently used either out wide or up front, Theo Walcott’s position in the team would certainly be under threat if Gotze joined, as he can also play either of those positions.
4) Aaron Ramsey
Not at his best for some time now, Aaron Ramsey has found himself in an attacking midfield role or even out wide sometimes, but Gotze would undoubtedly be an uprgade on the Welshman if he made the move to the Emirates Stadium.
5) Olivier Giroud
Starting up front and looking poor against West Ham, Olivier Giroud is surely not the answer to Arsenal’s striker problems, and Gotze could come in to play up front in a false 9 role.
