Crystal Palace have placed a £25m price-tag on Tottenham target Yannick Bolasie, according to the London Evening Standard.
The 26-year-old French-born DR Congo international impressed at Selhurst Park last season, the Eagles star frightening top-tier defences with his unpredictable and direct style of play. Subsequently, Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew has moved to quash talk of a possible summer exit.
“I am pretty confident of keeping him,” the ex-Newcastle United coach began, “he is a player that isn’t quite polished — you only need to see him to see that.
“But I cannot see anyone paying an excess of £25 million because that’s what they are going to need to get him out. So, if they want to we will talk.” added Pardew.
White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino saw Nacer Chadli impress last season, the Belgian scoring 11 Premier League goals, but the likes of Erik Lamela, Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon all failed to impress.
Bolasie moved to Crystal Palace in the summer of 2012 and played a key role in helping the South London side securing a return to the Premier League.
Pochettino has sold a number of under-performing players this summer with Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Lewis Holtby, Benjamin Stambouli, Vlad Chiriches and Younes Kaboul all leaving as the Argentine manager sought to trim his expansive squad.
