Man United spending close to matching last year’s £150m spree.
Manchester United’s transfer spending could reach an astonishing £143.5m this summer after rumours that Louis van Gaal has three more exciting deals in the works.
The Red Devils have already brought in five new players so far in this transfer window, and it now looks like further additions could be lined up with the view to replacing players like Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao, who have left the club, as well as Angel Di Maria, who looks set to follow.
The three players are as follows:
1) Pedro (Barcelona)
For around £21m, United look increasingly likely to sign Barcelona winger and Liverpool target Pedro this summer once the club have played in their UEFA Super Cup clash against Sevilla, according to Marca.

2) Felipe Anderson (Lazio)
In another move up front, United want to bring in Lazio winger Felipe Anderson, an impressive young Brazilian who has also been strongly linked with Chelsea in recent months.
3) Stefan de Vrij (Lazio)
In a double raid on Lazio worth around £42.5m, United are also hoping to sign Dutch centre-back Stefan de Vrij to strengthen their back line, with John Stones perhaps too expensive as he looks more likely to join Chelsea.
