Swansea City will launch a move for Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor if they are unable to keep hold of striker Bafetimbi Gomis according to the Daily Star.
Liberty Stadium boss Garry Monk fears he may lose Gomis to Al Ahli, with the French international having a very modest £8m release clause, and has earmarked a White Hart Lane swoop should such a deal go through.

Tottenham keen on £12m rated Chelsea target: Versatile Serie A attacker interests White Hart Lane boss
31-year-old Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor only managed two Premier League goals in 2014/15 but is a proven top-tier forward who is available for around £5m.
It’s true that Adebayor’s wage expectations are sky-high but the former Arsenal and Man City man has shown in the past that he is capable of being a 20-goal-a-season performer.
Emmanuel Adebayor has scored 122 goals in English football and could prove a very useful addition to a Swansea City attack that lost the services of Wilfried Bony to Man City in January.
