Manchester United star Rafael is keen to join Galatasaray, reports Turkish-Football.
The Brazilian has become surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, with Antonio Valencia being prefered by Louis van Gaal. With Matteo Darmian now having joined the club from Torino, he will be even further down the pecking order.
The 25-year-old made just 11 appearances for the Red Devils last season, and may want to move on in order to get some more first team football. Having been left out of United’s squad for their pre-season tour of the USA, it would seem his manager wouldn’t be too unhappy if he left.

This is despite the right-back making 40 appearances in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge, and his successor David Moyes also using the defender fairly regularly. It now seems the player is out of favour.
Were Rafael to join the Super Lig side he would just the latest United star to move to Turkey this summer. Robin van Persie and Nani have already arrived at Fenerbahce in the transfer window. Tom Cleverley has also left the club on a free transfer, as Louis van Gaal looks to get the deadwood out of his squad.
