Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal hopes to complete a £52m triple deal by Monday, with the Red Devils to continue their big spending from last summer.
Memphis Depay has already joined the club from PSV, and Van Gaal now has three more signings in the works as he looks to conclude his summer spending quickly.
The three players the United boss hopes to land are as follows:
1) Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich)
Linked with a £15m move to Old Trafford, it looks like Bastian Schweinsteiger is definitely leaving Bayern Munich to link up with his old manager Van Gaal in England, in what will certainly go down as one of the best moves of the summer.
2) Matteo Darmian (Torino)
A top class right-back expected to join for around £12m, Matteo Darmian has supposedly been in Manchester undergoing a medical and attempting to finalise this move, with the Italian international really catching the eye for Torino in recent times.
3) Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton)
Finally, for around £25m, United should finally wrap up the signing of Southampton midfielder and Arsenal target Morgan Schneiderlin, with Van Gaal keen to finally put this transfer saga to bed after lengthy speculation surrounding the Frenchman’s future.
