Arsenal could be about to make big changes to their first-team squad as they set their sights on new midfield signings to replace two stars that look like heading for the exit, with Mesut Ozil strongly linked with Juventus.
The Gunners will be disappointed to let some big names go, but they arguably come out looking stronger with these changes…
Out – Mesut Ozil
Possibly heading to Turin in a £29m deal, Mesut Ozil is being strongly linked with a move to Juve as his old team-mate Sami Khedira hopes to see him join him at the club.
In – Arturo Vidal
Although not in a swap deal, Arturo Vidal could be allowed to leave Juventus for Arsenal this summer if the club succeed in landing Ozil alongside Khedira in midfield, with the Chilean likely to cost around £21m.
