Although it would likely take a mega-bid to get the Germany international to Old Trafford, but it would be worth it to get one of the best players in the world. Jurgen Klopp recently leaving the Westfalenstadion could be enough to lure the 26-year-old away.

If Stoke can make attempts to sign the 23-year-old, then surely United can as well? The Switzerland international is a top-class player, as shown when he became one of the few players to score a World Cup hat trick last summer.

Also impressed at the World Cup, with Algeria, and has continued that form in Portugal. An exciting wideman who runs at defenders, the 25-year-old scored five goals and grabbed three assists in nine Champions League games last season to show he can do it on the highest stage.
