The side recently acquired his former Barcelona teammate Samuel Eto’o, meaning a move for Ronaldinho would complete an unlikely reunion.
“It’s very good for Turkish football to have big stars”, said his agent Roberto Assim. “Eto’o is a friend and we were happy for him”.
He insisted that there is still interest from Brazil – thought to be led by Vasco da Gama – and a deal is still being worked on.
Ronaldinho has just left Mexican side Queretaro where he lost in the playoff final to Santos Laguna. The score was 5-3 on aggregate.
He left under a cloud after numerous training ground incidents and a half time stadium walkout in their 5-0 final first leg defeat.
There is also thought to be interest from the MLS and from Africa.
