Man United: Six players concerned for their futures should Sergio Ramos move to Old Trafford
The 27-year-old was sent out on loan to Real Madrid last season, and impressed there when given the chance. Despite seven goals and four assists in 859 La Liga minutes for Los Blancos, Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal still isn’t interested in using him as part of his first team plans. This is surprising considering that the team suffered with a lack of options up front last time round.
However, this form has brought the Mexico international some fans outside of Old Trafford. Liverpool are meant to be interested in the striker as a solution to their goalscoring problems. Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert, and Fabio Borini failed to collectively replace Luis Suarez last time and the team struggled to finish sixth in the Premier League. Daniel Sturridge’s injury woes didn’t help the situation either.
With only a year left on his contract and having recently suffered a broken collarbone, Chicharito could well be available on the cheap. United want around £8 million for the forward, which is a great price for a proven top flight goalscorer.
