While Liverpool have been particularly busy in the transfer window so far, both they and their city rivals Everton will look to bring more new additions to Merseyside over the coming weeks and months.

The Liverpool Echo confirmed on Thursday that Everton had completed the signature of David Henen, with the Belgian teenager moving permanently from Olympiakos to sign a three-year deal at the club.
The youngster—who is understood to have signed for approximately £200,000—represents a further foray for Everton into the transfer market, with the Toffees having already signed Tom Cleverley from Manchester United.
In this feature we feature five players who may be set to follow Henen to Merseyside this summer.
Xherdan Shaqiri
Liverpool were long-term admirers of Inter Milan’s Xherdan Shaqiri, while Everton were linked to the Swiss midfielder recently, only to be priced-out of a move.
If the Toffees (or Brendan Rodgers’s Reds) are to move for the ex-Bayern Munich man, they will need to move quickly, as Stoke City look to be on the brink of a transfer deal.
Dries Mertens
Both Everton and Liverpool are understood to be keen on Napoli wideman Dries Mertens, who has indicated that he is looking for a move away from the San Paolo this summer.
The Belgium international and his teammates will not be featuring in the Champions League, and the forward is understood to be considering a move to England.
Ogenyi Onazi
Nigeria midfielder Ogenyi Onazi was heavily linked with a move to England in 2014, with both Merseyside rivals understood to be keen on bringing the Lazio man to Liverpool.
Onazi’s stock has fallen in the intervening year—he took his time to get over an injury suffered during the World Cup—and he has endured some spells out of the Lazio first team over the last year.
However, while Liverpool are still understood to be keen on the player, Spurs may now have overtaken the Toffees as Onazi’s secondary suitors.
Aaron Lennon
A former target for Liverpool, the England winger looks set to end his stay with Tottenham this summer—where he is Spurs’ longest-serving player.
The Reds haven’t been linked with Lennon for some time, and it may be that their city rivals ultimately bring the fleet-footed wideman to Merseyside.
Having starred on loan at Goodison Park for the second half of last season, the School of Science are keen on bringing the 28-year-old back to the club on a permanent deal.
Moses Odubajo
Anglo-Nigerian full-back Moses Odubajo has been heavily linked with a move to Everton in recent weeks.
The Brentford man missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, but he may soon get over his anguish by sealing a permanent move to the top flight with the Blues.
Despite starring as a right winger for Leyton Orient, Odubajo adapted superbly to a full-back role under Mark Warburton at Griffin Park last term.
