The Guardian have reported that a deal to be completed within the next 24 hours, with terms having already been agreed between the Italian giants and the Europa League winners.
Bacca is set to undergo a medical in Colombia shortly, overseen by a delegation from Milan, although the player’s contract has already been agreed upon by both the Rossoneri and the Cafeteros hitman.
The forward is currently in South America after having competed in the Copa America, although he endured a troubled competition, being sent off after 20 minutes of the side’s high-profile group-stage clash with Brazil.
Colombia ultimately fell in the quarter-finals after being defeated by Argentina on penalties.
28-year-old Bacca was one of the stars of the season in Spain last year, finding the net 20 times in 37 league appearances for the Rojiblancos.
He also scored seven goals in 15 Europa League outings, firing Sevilla to a 3-2 final victory over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk—a match in which he contributed two goals and one assist.
That match has long looked like being his last for Sevilla, with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool linked heavily to his signature [Express].
However, Milan—who missed out on Geoffrey Kondogbia when he moved to their city rivals Inter [Sky Sports]—have met the striker’s £21 million-buyout clause and will hope that the forward can fire them back into the title picture next season.
