Arsenal look in a good position to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer as his club are possibly set to be forced to let him go, according to the Metro.
The Spanish giants are set on bringing in Manchester City star Sergio Aguero for next season, and the Argentine’s arrival would surely be expensive enough that player sales would have to go through to help fund the move.
Arsenal are big admirers of Benzema and look the current favourites to land the French international, despite him previously being linked strongly with both Manchester United and Liverpool.
Arsene Wenger’s side could do with better options up front next season, with Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck not being at their best for much of the season just gone.
