The Argentine striker finished the season with the Premier League’s Golden Boot, scoring 26 times – five more than Tottenham’s Harry Kane and six more than Chelsea’s Diego Costa.
The 27-year-old is one of the most dangerous forwards in and around the box, averaging 4.5 shots per-game – the highest in the league – and is no doubt worthy of a super price-tag. If the Citizens continue to struggle in the Champions League and fail to contend with champions Chelsea, Aguero may start to assess his options away from the Etihad.
