Ex-Man United star has transfer advice for £58m Man City transfer target

Patrice Evra has revealed the advice he has given to his Juventus teammate Paul Pogba concerning the midfielder’s future.

The French international powerhouse may be set for a big decision this summer, with a whole host of clubs believed to be keen on acquiring him from the Bianconeri.

Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are both believed to be interested in his services, with the latter publicly admitting their admiration for the player. The Catalonian giants cannot register new players until January 2016 but would, nonetheless, represent an appealing destination for Pogba.

Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on the 22-year-old, as they look to bring him back to his hometown, while from the Premier League, Manchester City are also rumoured to be interested in the player.

Patrice Evra, who has been teammates with Pogba at both United and Juve, has revealed the advice he has shared with his young compatriot.

“I have advised him, simply, to make the best choice,” Evra began, speaking to Telefoot [via Le 10 Sport], I have given him some small pieces of advice, but the decision is his.

“He is young, he is only 22, so if we wants to go, why not?” Evra continued.

“But if he prefers to stay, that would not be a bad choice,” he continued, “the decision will come to him.”
