Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli admits he is hopeful that his fellow Belgian international will reject offers from Liverpool and other clubs and choose a move to White Hart Lane this summer.
The 24-year-old enjoyed another impressive season in the Premier League, scoring 15 goals in 29 appearances for Aston Villa to establish himself as one of the top centre-forwards in the country.
This has seen big names like Liverpool and Chelsea in for him this summer, but Totteham are also understood to have made a bid and Chadli is excited at the prospect of playing alongside his international colleague.
“I hope it’s going to happen, but first they have to attract him and there are a lot of clubs who want him,” he is quoted in The Sun.
“Christian has to make his choice. Hopefully he’s going to choose us.”
