Gerrard alongside former international team-mate Rio Ferdinand and long-time admirer in Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho were all confirmed to appear as regular pundits during a press conference on Tuesday morning.
Unfortunately for Gerrard he will be unable to talk about the Merseyside outfit on the show next year as his final season at the club ended in a disappointing sixth place finish and a place in the Europa League.
Ferdinand, who retired from professional football last month, took to social media and revealed his excitement at the opportunity to being apart of the high-profile team that has four Champions League medals between them.
Looking forward to being part of #BTsportEurope with @stevengerrard and the team ????
