The 29 year old Brazilian made little impact in his debut season at Stamford Bridge but is apparently not keen on a move to the Bernabeu, presumably due to his previous allegiance with their city rivals Atletico.
Indeed Luis will only consider a Blues exit if it is to return to the Vicente Calderon, with Jose Mourinho having only handed the wide-man starting just nine Premier League fixtures in 2014/15.
A move to Real Madrid would presumably only entail switching one bench for another with fellow countryman Marcelo now a nailed on first choice left-back at the club.
Mourinho may consider offers for Luis though one imagines the West London side wouldn’t accept anything less than the £15.8m they paid for the player last July.
