Liverpool transfer news
The talented 20-year-old has cast his Anfield future into serious doubt after repeatedly rejecting contract offers throughout the 2014/15 season, despite being offered big money to remain on Merseyside.
Sterling’s desire to leave the Reds has seen him attract big interest from some top clubs all around Europe, including Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid as well as Premier League champions Chelsea.
Still, it is the Blues that may now be favourites to land the young wide-man, who is open to completing a transfer to Stamford Bridge as he looks to return to London after leaving Queens Park Rangers for Liverpool earlier in his career.
There’s no doubt Sterling would be a great fit at Chelsea, and Jose Mourinho’s side may now be the favourites to snap him up this summer, according to the Metro.
