Writing in a column for the Metro, Royal Blue Mersey argues that Deulofeu would be a great addition back at Goodison Park for next season, having shown real promise during his time on loan at the club in 2013/14.

Deulofeu notably scored a stunning solo strike in a 1-1 draw away to Arsenal, showing glimpses of the potential that has long seen him regarded as one of the best young players in Europe.

The Spaniard has not had so much success on loan at Sevilla this season, and it may be that he is no longer in the first-team plans of Barcelona manager Luis Enrique ahead of next season.

Still, the 21-year-old would clearly be welcome back at Everton, with the Toffees looking noticeably worse this season since the youngster left the club.
