A fine goalkeeper who has done well to become Arsenal’s number one this season, David Ospina is certainly in ahead of either of Villa’s shot-stoppers.
DR: Hector Bellerin (Arsenal)
An exciting young right-back, Hector Bellerin has had a superb season after becoming first choice for the Gunners.

Alongside the Frenchman, Aston Villa’s rock-solid Dutch centre-back Ron Vlaar arguably looks a better shout than Per Mertesacker based on form this season.
MC: Francis Coquelin (Arsenal)
A top class young midfielder, Francis Coquelin has been a revelation for Arsenal this season and makes up one half of this defensive midfield duo.
MC: Fabian Delph (Aston Villa)
Another Villa star who deserves a place in this lineup, England international midfielder Fabian Delph has been a stand-out performer at Villa Park this season and could certainly mix it up with Arsenal’s stars.
AMR: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)
One of the best attacking players in Europe this season, Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez is an obvious choice for the right-hand side in this XI.
AML: Santi Cazorla (Arsenal)
Another class act for the Gunners this term, Santi Cazorla has proven hugely important for the club in their run to 3rd in the league and to the FA Cup final.
AMC: Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)
One of the best playmakers in Europe, Mesut Ozil is not the most consistent performer, but still gets in ahead of any Villa players in this position.
FC: Christian Benteke (Aston Villa)
The third and final Villa star to make this team, Belgian powerhouse striker Christian Benteke is certainly better than Olivier Giroud or Danny Welbeck and gets in ahead of the Arsenal pair up front.
