The Polish international has been on United’s radar for some time, and thanks to Urbano Cairo’s recent comments they may now kick a move into gear to bring him to Old Trafford.
“He has a contract until 2017 and he is very valued,” Cairo said.
“If an offer arrives that values him importantly then we’ll evaluate it, but by the end of June.”
Louis Van Gaal is desperate to add more defensive numbers to his squad over the summer having been caught out a number of times thanks to injuries and suspensions.
However, Premier League rivals Tottenham are also said to be interested and will likely go up against the Red Devils for his signature.
The 27-year-old has previously been on the books of Real Madrid’s C side, but has been at Torino since 2011, where he has made 124 appearances, scoring 13 goals in the process.
