10) Robin van Persie (Manchester United) – 1.2%

Despite a real dip in form this season, Manchester United striker Robin van Persie remains one of the biggest names in the Premier League, with 1.2% of shirt sales this season being his number 20 jersey.

Into his final season as a Liverpool player, Steven Gerrard has continued to rake in the shirt-sale profits for his club with 1.76% of shirts sold this season being his iconic number 8.

7) Radamel Falcao (Manchester United) – 1.99%

A real disappointment, Radamel Falcao has already left Manchester United after an unsuccessful loan from AS Monaco, but did at least do well for the club in bringing in shirt sale revenue.

6) Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) – 2.09%

Still one of the biggest brands in the English game, Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney comes in sixth place here with 2.09% of the overall shirt sales.

5) Eden Hazard (Chelsea) – 2.1%

Voted PFA Player of the Year, Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been world class this term and his shirt sales will no doubt have gone up due to changing to the number ten as well.

4) David de Gea (Manchester United) – 2.16%

An amazing achievement for a goalkeeper, David de Gea’s world class form for Manchester United this season puts him fourth in this list.

3) Diego Costa (Chelsea) – 2.27%

One of the biggest signings of the summer, Diego Costa has been a big hit at Chelsea and has unsurprisingly helped the club sell a large number of shirts.

2) Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) – 3.8%

A signing met with huge excitement by Arsenal fans, Alexis Sanchez has been one of the best players in the country this season and has sold 3.8% of shirts at Sports Direct.

1) Angel Di Maria (Manchester United) – 9.59%

Miles ahead of everyone has been Manchester United’s new number 7 and record signing Angel Di Maria. The Argentine has not hit his best form so far, but he is a huge name and that is reflected in his enormous shirt sales when he arrived at Old Trafford.
