Liverpool’s four main targets for the upcoming summer transfer window have been revealed, with the Reds chasing four established Premier League stars in a major revamp ahead of next season.

Manager Brendan Rodgers is under pressure to bring in the right players in this transfer window, having failed to adequately replace the departing Luis Suarez last summer as big-name buys like Mario Balotelli have been hugely disappointing.
Liverpool also want to improve on Simon Mignolet in goal, whilst also bringing in a bargain replacement for the departing Steven Gerrard.

1) Christian Benteke (Aston Villa)
In a move worth around £30m, Liverpool will attempt to solve their issues up front with the signing of Christian Benteke from Aston Villa. The Belgian international has been in superb form this season and would be a great buy for Rodgers’ side.
2) James Milner (Manchester City)
Another Premier League star, Manchester City midfielder James Milner should be available on a free this summer as he runs down his contract at the Etihad Stadium, and he’d be a good replacement for Steven Gerrard.
3) Danny Ings (Burnley)
Another player set to quit his current club at the end of his contract, Burnley striker Danny Ings is also on Liverpool’s radar this summer and can move for a relatively cheap compensation fee.
4) Neto (Fiorentina)
Finally, Liverpool are also keen on Fiorentina’s in-form Brazilian goalkeeper Neto as a replacement for Mignolet this summer, though Juventus have also been linked with him.
