James Milner (Man City to Liverpool)

By all accounts the versatile England man has all but agreed a free transfer move to Anfield where he will offer Brendan Rodgers strength in depth in numerous positions.

Petr Cech (Chelsea to Arsenal)

The Czech Republic star is apparently 99% certain to join Arsenal (via the Daily Star), Arsene Wenger will be happy to hear that. The Blues custodian is a big improvement on the current Gunners keepers.

Yaya Toure (Inter Milan to Man City)

Midfield powerhouse is said to be very likely to move to reunite with former boss Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan, where no doubt they will remember to wish him happy birthday!

Danny Ings (Burnley to Liverpool)

Sean Dyche has no chance of keeping hold of the English striker and Brendan Rodgers looks likely to bring in the Clarets star for a minimal compensatory payment.

Tom Cleverley (Man United to Aston Villa)

The midfielder was stagnating at Old Trafford and has found a new lease of life at Villa Park, temporary move likely to be made permanent this summer.

Danny Rose (Tottenham to Man City)

The chance to secure a big pay-rise and Champions League action may prove too tempting for the full-back, who would helpfully boost City’s ‘homegrown’ contingent.

Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid to Chelsea)

Having raided the Vicente Calderon last summer we can well see Jose Mourinho repeating the trick to bring in the in-form attacker, who’s £43.5m release clause shouldn’t be too much of a concern for owner Roman Abramovich.

David De Gea (Man United to Real Madrid)

Keeper said his goodbyes at Old Trafford last weekend and we’d say he’s almost certain to return to the Spanish capital to replace Iker Casillas as first choice at the Bernabeu.

Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton to Arsenal)

Long term Gunners target and surely worthy of a high-profile move having seen a number of his team-mates scarper last summer. Could be the ideal summer capture for Arsene Wenger.

Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton to Man United)

Neither Luis Antonio Valencia nor Rafael have impressed enough to convince Louis van Gaal to not sign a better option at right back and the Saints man is known to be a genuine Old Trafford target.

Charlie Austin (QPR to Liverpool)

Loftus Road ace has netted 17 goals for a side who couldn’t avoid relegation and he is a player known to be courted by Brendan Rodgers, who desperately needs fresh goal-scoring options.

Rickie Lambert (Liverpool to AFC Bournemouth)

Veteran scouser’s move to Anfield hasn’t gone as planned and a swift move to the south-coast could well suit all parties and we can well see it happening.

Gareth Bale (Real Madrid to Chelsea)

The Welshman doesn’t look happy at the Bernabeu, where he’s unfairly become something of a scapegoat, and Jose Mourinho is known to be interested in the former Tottenham man. Chelsea may be looking to make a statement of intent this summer and capturing the world’s most expensive player may be the right way about it.
