Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has issued some strong words of advice for his former star player Gareth Bale, now at Real Madrid.

The Wales international is struggling at the Bernabeu this season, becoming a figure of hate amongst some of the club’s fans after a dip in form following a promising first season last year.
Having moved from Spurs to Real in a world-record £85m move, Bale has clearly had plenty of expectation on his shoulders in the Spanish capital, and is currently on a poor run of just three goals in 19 games, with Cristiano Ronaldo still very much the main man in the side after scoring his 45th La Liga goal of the season this weekend.
Still, Redknapp has little sympathy for Bale as he seems to ponder his long-term future at the club, telling the 25-year-old to sort himself out and relish the chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“He has never received this amount of attention and maybe that’s affected him a little,” Redknapp is quoted in the Daily Mirror. “But he’s got to get over it, be strong and believe that he can turn his situation around.
“He’s got to dive in head first. It’s no good for him to be going over there wondering whether it would be better if he came back home.
“He’s at one of the greatest clubs in the world, if not the greatest. This is a man’s world and he’s got to sort himself out.”
