Manchester City are reportedly preparing a stunning offer for Paul Pogba that would see the Juventus midfielder become the highest-paid midfielder in world football.
Spanish giants Real Madrid, reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, and Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested in the Frenchman – but would struggle to match the sensational deal the Sky Blues are apparently preparing.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester City’s billionaire-owner Sheikh Mansour is willing to pay a whopping £70m fee to Juve for their prized asset – which would be a British transfer record.
Even more astonishingly, the report states that Mansour is prepared to offer the 22-year-old a stunning £12.5m deal to make the switch to the Etihad – meaning he would pocket a mouth-watering £250,000 per-week after tax.
Despite the plethora of top European clubs vying for the signature of Pogba, the Citizens believe that their financial prowess will help them seal a transfer for the world’s most in-demand midfielder.
The France international is considered to be the ideal replacement to Yaya Toure who is poised to exit Manchester in the summer – after his agent claimed that his client is 90% certain to leave Manuel Pellegrini’s side at the end of the season (via Sky Sports reporter Amy Lewis on her Twitter account).
