Hugo Lloris and Eric Dier got themselves involved in a terrible mix up, gifting Stoke’s Steven N’Zonzi the chance to double the home side’s lead in the 32nd minute.

Stoke got their second only eleven minutes after going ahead through Charlie Adam.
Adam was again involved in the second, lofting a high ball into the area. Dier trying to play it back to his keeper, but Lloris was already coming for it. The ball eventually found itself at the feet of N’Zonzi, and the 26 year old made no mistake in sweeping it into the net.
Stoke came into this game in poor form – one win in seven league games, but are now well on their way to another three points. Spurs have rarely threatened, and with only two games to go after today their hopes of Champions League football have now disappeared.
