The Swedish superstar demonstrated both sides of his game against EAG, with a magnificent offensive display but also some typical prima-donna behaviour.
The forward doubled PSG’s lead on 18 minutes when he demonstrated his composure inside the box to finish convincingly after superb work from Edinson Cavani and Marco Verratti.
His class was on show in the second half when he took a moment to measure his options before chipping a deliciously inviting ball for Maxwell to head home.
It was a glorious moment of skill from a player truly in his element.
The striker rounded off PSG’s rout with a penalty after winning the spotkick himself.
However, while these moments showed the Parc des Princes the ‘best’ of Zlatan, his ‘other side’ was also evident.
The former Milan man—who has been linked with a move back to the San Siro—refused to accept his culpability when booked for a foul on Lars Jacobsen.
Instead, he seemed to insist the former Everton man was at fault!
Late on, Zlatan was also the victim of an unwanted shower, when his acrobatic attempts to swing from the crossbar resulted in an unforeseen downpour.
One senses that PSG’s genius won’t be having too many sleepless nights after that one!
