Arsenal legend Liam Brady believes that Jack Wilshere keeps getting injured because he is too brave, reports the Daily Star.

The midfielder has spent much of his short career on the sidelines, with multiple ankle injuries being particularly worrying. He is undoubtedly talented though, and despite these fitness problems the 23-year-old has managed 26 appearances for England and 148 for the Gunners scoring 11 goals.
Brady spent seven years at what was then Highbury, and believes that the youngster needs to be less foolhardy when going in to tackles. The centre-mid isn’t shy when up against bigger and stronger counterparts.
The club hero said: “I think Jack is too brave for his own good. He goes into challenges where he isn’t favourite and he is dangling his leg out. He is too brave for his own good and has paid the price for that. But it is early days yet for Jack.
“You just have to think of how he played for England against Brazil at Wembley that day that England beat Brazil. He was absolutely fantastic. He ran the show in the middle of the park. And how he played against Barcelona when Arsenal beat Barcelona in the Champions League – let’s hope we can get Jack back to that level.”
The North London club could certainly do with their academy product getting back to full fitness before next season if they want to challenge for the Premier League title. The time round Chelsea have run away with it and are currently 13 points ahead of Arsenal, albeit with a game in hand.
