(Images) Chelsea stars suited and booted at PFA awards: Cesc Fabregas, John Terry & Didier Drogba in good spirits after Arsenal draw

Jose Mourinho’s men went into the half-time break a goal down after Marc Albrighton capitalised on Cesar Azpilicueta’s error, but goals from veterans Didier Drogba and John Terry in the second period earned all three points.

Here is how the visitors rated…

Petr Cech – 6/10

Nothing at all he could do about the goal. Will be disappointed in Azpilicueta for costing him a clean sheet on his return to the side.

Cesar Azpilicueta – 5/10

His slip allowed Albrighton to put the hosts in front right before the half-time break, leading to what was surely an uncomfortable dressing room atmosphere.

John Terry – 7/10

Came up with the trademark ‘bundled in from a set-piece’ goal in the closing stages but it doesn’t matter how ugly it was – it put Chelsea on the road to title glory.

Gary Cahill – 7/10

Commanding performance at the heart of the backline and played a part in Terry’s goal.

Branislav Ivanovic – 7/10

Claimed a fine assist for Drogba’s crucial equaliser, which handed the impetus back to the away side, coming as it did right after the restart.

Ramires – 7/10

Grew into the contest and got his name on the scoresheet to put Chelsea on the brink of the big prize.

Nemanja Matic – 6/10

He has had better nights but was solid enough and kept going when the game threatened to go pear-shaped.

Willian – 8/10

Fantastic second-half performance from the diminutive Brazilian, whose bursts of acceleration out-foxed the Foxes.

Cesc Fabregas – 7/10

Not a constant threat but the statistics don’t lie – he grabbed his 17th assist of the season in this contest.

Eden Hazard – 7/10

Turned on the trickery in the second period when the Blues belatedly found their groove. A constant concern for defenders even when he doesn’t bring his A-game.

Didier Drogba – 7/10

Gave his doubters something to think about with his first goal since December 6. A well-taken strike at a pivotal time in the game.

Substitutes:

Kurt Zouma (for Willian, ’84) – Too late to mark.

Juan Cuadrado (for Hazard, ’88) – Too late to mark.

John Obi Mikel (for Fabregas, ’90) – Too late to mark.
