10) Julian Speroni (Crystal Palace)

An underrated talent in the Premier League, Crystal Palace would not be where they are now without the fine form and reflex saves of their Argentine goalkeeper Julian Speroni.

9) Lukasz Fabianski (Swansea City)

A great signing on a free from Arsenal, Lukasz Fabianski has performed superbly for new club Swansea City this season, helping them to a safe mid-table finish and good defensive record.

8) Simon Mignolet (Liverpool)

A player who has his critics at Anfield, Simon Mignolet has still had some really good games for Liverpool this season and perhaps deserves more recognition.

7) David Ospina (Arsenal)

Replacing Wojciech Szczesny as number one midway through the season, time will tell if David Ospina is the man for the job at Arsenal, but he’s done very well so far for the Gunners.

6) Asmir Begovic (Stoke City)

One of Europe’s best goalkeepers not currently playing at a top club, Stoke City shot-stopper Asmir Begovic has had another superb campaign in the Premier League.

5) Joe Hart (Manchester City)

Back to his best this season after a difficult couple of years, Joe Hart has been one of few Manchester City players to emerge with any real credit in this disappointing season for the club.

4) Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur)

One of the best in Europe, Hugo Lloris is another world class goalkeeper in England and deserves recognition after yet another superb season for Tottenham Hotspur.

3) Fraser Forster (Southampton)

A terrific signing by Southampton, Fraser Forster has been hugely impressive in his first season in the Premier League, helping the Saints to a joint-best goals-against record in the top flight.

2) Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea)

Chelsea have not been let down by outstanding Belgian youngster Thibaut Courtois since the difficult decision to make him their number one ahead of the legendary Petr Cech, with the 22-year-old playing a huge role in their run to the title.

1) David de Gea (Manchester United)

Surely the stand-out performer in goal this season, David de Gea has had an amazing season for Manchester United and is now attracting interest from Real Madrid.
