Coutinho over Fabregas? – Twitter reacts to PFA Premier League Team of the Year result
Eden Hazard can’t become the best in the world if he stays at Chelsea – here’s why
1) Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)
Ditched in favour of Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, it’s hard to understand how the PFA could justify leaving out Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard has been superb in his first season back in the Premier League, contributing three goals and 16 assists in the league which look to be proving crucial in guiding the Blues towards the title.

2) Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea)
With former Chelsea left-back Ryan Bertrand preferred in that position for his fine season with Southampton, Cesar Azpilicueta is another player harshly left out after proving rock solid for the Blues as they have dominated the division.
3) Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)
Currently the top scorer in the Premier League, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero seems to have been snubbed for his team’s poor performances overall, though he has been in lethal form in front of goal with 21 to his name so far.
4) Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton)
Many feel Nathaniel Clyne has been the stand-out right-back in England this term, showing great attacking quality and looking like being suited to a bigger club, though it’s clearly a close call with the excellent Branislav Ivanovic.
5) Jose Fonte (Southampton)
Another Southampon player who has been excellent all season long for the Saints’ rock-solid backline, Jose Fonte looks more deserving of a place in the team than Chelsea’s Gary Cahill.
