Liverpool are supposedly the team in secret talks with PSV winger Memphis Depay, not Manchester United, according to latest transfer reports.

The Netherlands international was reported to have arrived in England on Thursday via Manchester Airport, sparking rumours that he was closing in on a move to Old Trafford ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, it has now emerged that Liverpool are the club to have spoken to him, with managing director Ian Ayre making the trip to start negotiations with the talented 21-year-old, who has been in sensational form in the Eredivisie this season.
According to the Daily Mirror, Depay has been impressed by Liverpool’s proposals as well as their setup at the club overall, with a move to Anfield now looking ever more likely.
This would be a great move for the Reds if they can pull it off, while Depay himself may also feel the switch to Merseyside is the best way for him to continue his development, given Brendan Rodgers’ fine record with young players.
