Guardiola was part of a hugely successful Barcelona side built by Johan Cruyff and during his time playing at the Nou Camp managed to win six La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey medal, one Cup Winners Cup and the European Cup, in 1992.

The now Bayern Munich manager furthered his status as Barcelona legend by coming back as manager and orchestrating near world domination, winning a further three La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and two Champions League trophies.

Guardiola will be hoping his team can replicate the 7-0 aggregate win over the Catalan giants from two years ago, when Bayern Munich won the Champions League after a victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

Real Madrid will play Juventus in the other tie, which sees the Old Lady compete in their first Champions League semi-final in 12 years. That means Real Madrid reserve team manager Zinedine Zidane will return to his former side and both sides will fancy their chances of getting to the final in Berlin.
