Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has rejected claims that the Catalan giants are trying to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, who is reportedly being tracked by a number of top European clubs, according to The Mirror.

The former Manchester United man has caught the eye with some impressive displays for Serie A giants Juventus this term with Barcelona among the clubs linked with a transfer for him.
Louis van Gaal’s Red Devils and Chelsea have also been touted with a move for the midfield engine, though Barcelona president has poured cold water on the rumours of him moving to the Nou Camp.
Bartomeu said, “For the moment, there is no plan to sign him.
“I believe that every club admires great players. We also have players other teams would like to have!
“We have plans, but I cannot give details. For now, we’re only watching Pogba on TV.”
The 22-year-old Frenchman has been one of the first names on the teamsheet for ‘The Old Lady’, making 30 appearances, scoring nine goals and assisting four in an impressive season in which he has once again attracted interest across the continent.
