PFA Players’ Player of the Year contenders Harry Kane, Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez are among the names that have proved the most valuable to their respective clubs this season.
Most interestingly, despite Sergio Aguero being joint highest Premier League scorer, the Argentine isn’t listed in the top 10.

The Telegraph have put together a list of the the Premier League players who have earned their sides the most points this term. Have a read of the list below…
Jonathan Walters – Stoke City
Goals: 7
Points won: 9
Despite netting a rather uninspiring seven times this season, his goals have proved crucial to his team – as he has scored winners against Arsenal, Tottenham, Swansea and Queens Park Rangers.
Peter Crouch – Stoke City
Goals: 7
Points won: 9
A disappointing number of goals for the striker, but like his Stoke team-mate Jonathan Walters, the Potters would have missed out on nine points without the 34-year-old’s seven goals.
Olivier Giroud – Arsenal
Goals: 14
Points won: 9
The Frenchman missed four months at the beginning of the season after fracturing his ankle against Everton in August, and his return to full fitness has been key in Arsenal’s surge to second place in the Premier League.
Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal
Goals: 14
Points won: 11
Perhaps the summer signing of the season.
The Chilean has got his Gunners career off to a sensational start, and despite not fully carrying his blistering form into the second half of the season, the former Barcelona star certainly looks to be worth every penny of the £35m Arsenal parted with to secure his signature.
Papiss Cisse – Newcastle
Goals: 11
Points won: 11
Sadly the Senegal international’s season will likely be remembered for his spat with Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, but he has been crucial to the Magpies’ disappointing campaign.
Without the striker’s 11 goals and 11 points won, the Toon could very well be heading to the Championship next season.
Eden Hazard – Chelsea
Goals: 12
Points won: 11
Along with Harry Kane, the Blues winger is the favourite to claim the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award, and it’s no surprise given his performances for the title leaders.
The Belgian has scored when it matters this season, and without him the race to be named Premier League champions would be very different right now.
Charlie Austin – Queens Park Rangers
Goals: 17
Points won: 11
QPR look destined to – once again – face the drop from the Premier League.
But, if there’s one positive to come from the Hoops’ season – it is Charlie Austin.
Without the striker’s 17 goals and 11 points won, Chris Ramsey’s side would already be preparing for life in the Championship next season; the 25-year-old has kept their slim hopes of survival alive.
Christian Eriksen – Tottenham Hotspur
Goals: 9
Points won: 13
The Denmark international is earning a reputation for popping up with goals – and right when it matters most.
His last minute winners against Hull City, Swansea City, Leicester City and Sunderland have stopped Spurs from worryingly drifting ever further from the top four.
Harry Kane – Tottenham Hotspur
Goals: 9
Points won: 22
The 21-year-old has simply been stunning in his breakthrough season at White Hart Lane – scoring 30 goals in all competitions.
It makes for truly remarkable reading that the striker has won Spurs 22 points this term. Without Kane, Tottenham would be just above the drop zone.
And to think the forward wasn’t even handed his first start by Mauricio Pochettino until November.
