Spurs have seen their campaign tail off after looking promising up until the last couple of months. They lost to Chelsea in the final of the League Cup, and have dropped off in the race for qualification to next season’s Champions League, despite going above fierce rivals Arsenal after a derby win in February.
As a result manager Mauricio Pochettino could well be looking to strengthen his squad in the summer. The Metro seem to believe that this transfer raid could well be the start of this rebuild.
In dire need of a striker, Gignac could well offer goals having scored 18 in all competitions this season. Meanwhile Ayew and Thauvin could strengthen the wide areas, with the underperforming Erik Lamela and Andros Townsend not convincing recently.
The former two are available for free when their contracts run out in the summer, while the latter will take around £10 million to tempt away.
