MC) Emmanuel Frimpong
Yet another player who struggled in the game and was made to pay for it in a big way. The Ghanaian was sent out on loan three times before eventually being sold to Barnsley.
Now he plays for Russian side FC Ufa and could get relegated this season.
MC) Francis Coquelin
Coquelin was a bit-part player when he lined up against Reading that night but fast forward to the present and it would be a shock if he doesn’t start the game at Wembley.
That goes to show just how important he has become to the Arsenal midfield. He has taken advantage of injuries to become an automatic choice for Arsene Wenger.
AMC) Andrei Arshavin
Played in his favoured position of just behind the striker and his contributions in that game seem to go unnoticed by some. The Russian had a hand in three goals on the night in one of his better performances in an Arsenal shirt.
He rejoined Zenit St Petersburg on loan in February 2013 before joining on a free transfer that summer once his contract with the Gunners had expired.
