Eden Hazard is a major favourite to claim the PFA player of the year award at the end of the season and displayed exactly was why in his performance against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian wizard scored the only goal of the game after bursting through Man United’s defence and calmly finishing past David de Gea to extend Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table to 10 points.
Hazard will no doubt cherish the Premier League trophy rather than any individual awards but he looks like making a clean sweep come May. The paying fans in west London were treated to an exhibition and he could’ve had a second but saw his effort cannon off the post from a tight angle.
