Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi will only allow Matteo Darmian to leave the club if he asks to go, amid interest from Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, reports the Daily Star.

Petrachi also claimed that no bids have been made for the 25-year-old as of yet. Darmian has been part of an impressive Torino side this season, making 26 appearances for the Serie A side. He has also become a regular for the Italian national team and has now made 11 appearances for them, including one against England last month.
His sporting director said: “There have been no offers for Darmian. He’ll remain with us unless he asks to be sold.”
The defender can play at either right-back or centre-back, which would fit well with United manager Louis van Gaal. The 63-year-old likes to switch formation regularly, which requires versatility from his players. However, the Red Devils will have to fight off the El Clasico rivals according to the report. This is despite the Catalan club currently being in the middle of a ban on signing new players.
