Manchester United transfer rumours
The Red Devils last summer claimed the title over Premier League rivals Liverpool in the final at the beginning of August.
The Daily Mail reported that Old Trafford chiefs have cut short the Red Devils’ tour of the States to less than two weeks, as Louis van Gaal wants his squad to be in perfect condition ahead of the following campaign.
The tournament last summer ended just 12 days before the start of the Premier League season.
The competition could also see Steven Gerrard line up against Manchester United for perhaps the last time in his career – but this time in an LA Galaxy shirt.
