Stade de Reims welcome OGC Nice to the Stade Auguste Delaune on Sunday in a Ligue 1 relegation six-pointer.
When: 4.00 pm GMT, 12 April 2015
Where: Stade Auguste Delaune, Reims
The home side will be playing their first match without Jean-Luc Vasseur. The progressive young coach made a good impression at the start of the season but lost his way and was relieved of his duties as Reims slipped towards the drop zone.
Former Reims player Olivier Guegan has stepped into the breach and has taken an interim role until the season’s end as he attempts to steer around Les Champenois’ fortunes.
With seven games to play, the fallen giants of French football sit only three points off Toulouse in 18th and, having won only once since December 20, look destined for Ligue 2.
In Nice, Guegan faces opponents with concerns of their own.
Les Aiglons ended a four-game losing streak with an unlikely victory over then-table toppers Olympique Lyonnais towards the end of March, before drawing against Evian Thonon Gaillard at the beginning of April.
Nice are themselves only six points off the bottom three and will be hoping that an away victory will end any lingering concerns they have of relegation.
