Anfield side chase Barcelona starlet.
Liverpool are reportedly leading the chase to sign Barcelona youngster Sergi Samper according to the Metro.

The 20 year old midfielder is struggling to force his way into Luis Enrique’s Nou Camp plans and was strongly linked with a January move to join Arsenal, a move that failed to come to fruition.
Now Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring in the talented midfielder, who is said to have a £9.6m release clause, who has been dubbed the ‘new Andrea Pirlo’.
Samper is yet to make his La Liga debut for Barcelona but has played in Copa del Rey and Champions League fixtures and has been capped at Spanish Under 21 level.
Brendan Rodgers is well known for his willingness to trust to youth and this could help his push to bring in Samper, who may feel his chances of regular first team action at Barcelona are slim to none.
