The club are in the midst of a fixture pileup and their taxing end to the season has been made harder due to injuries sustained in their triumph over Caen.
The Monegasques made light work of their Norman rivals. Anthony Martial opened the scoring on 29 minutes after excellent work from Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco, before Bernardo Silva made it 2-0 just after the hour mark.
Silva rounded off the triumph after fine work from Martial.
However, while Monaco’s three points took them above Olympique de Marseille into third place in the Ligue 1 table, two of their key players were struck down by injuries.
Ricardo Carvalho has endured a tough 2015 with fitness concerns and was replaced by Wallace after 69 minutes. He was later seen looking uncomfortable on the bench with his knee heavily bandaged.
Jeremy Toulalan was crocked earlier, and had to be replaced on 50 minutes after pulling up with apparent hamstring concerns.
Manager Leonardo Jardim can ill afford to be without two of his most experienced campaigners for Monaco’s tough run-in, particularly with a Champions League quarter-final clash with Juventus on the horizon.
