Premier League Predictions: Arsenal continue charge upwards, while North London rivals drop points and Manchester United edge derby

Tottenham 1-2 Aston Villa

Spurs’ quest for Champions League football appears to have ended prematurely once again, with their goalless draw against Burnley leaving them seven points adrift of fourth placed Manchester City.

Villa have looked reinvigorated under Tim Sherwood, and appear to have plenty of goals in them. They still look susceptible at the back, but if Tottenham don’t wake up then there could be an upset at White Hart Lane.

Sherwood will also be extra motivated to get something out of this game given his history with the home side.
