The prolific Argentine international has been superb since leaving Real Madrid for a move to Italy, continuing his excellent goalscoring form under Rafael Benitez at the Stadio San Paolo.
Still, according to the Daily Mirror, it looks as though Napoli could look to cash in on their star player this summer as Arsenal continue to hover, with the Gunners perhaps keen to bring in one more quality signing upfront despite the fine form of main striker Olivier Giroud this season.
Danny Welbeck has not hit top form for Arsenal since joining the club from Manchester United in the summer, and a player of Higuain’s calibre and experience could prove a useful addition for Arsene Wenger’s side as they hope to mount more of a challenge for the Premier League title next season.
