The Blues have apparently agreed to pay the amount for the player’s rights, with just over half of it going to the Brazilian club. BMG bank and agent Evandro Ferreira are to receive the rest as they part own the 19-year-old. According to the Daily Express the total transfer will cost £6 million.
The youngster has been also been linked to the Stamford Bridge outfit’s Premier League rivals United according to the British paper. Were the London based side to sign the teenager it would surely be a blow to the Old Trafford team.
Kenedy has rarely started for Fluminense and has only scored two goals for the senior side so far, but it is clear that some top sides rate him highly. However, it is still unlikely that he would walk straight in to the starting XI of whichever Premier League giant he may sign for.
